Steve Yen

FOUNDER

Steve Yen is a macro thinker with a unique blend of professional and life experiences. Before graduating from high school at the Georgetown Preparatory School, Steve completed internships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and an investment bank. He chose to pursue a career within Finance but put that on hold because of the 9/11/01 attacks that occurred at the beginning of his undergraduate studies.

Upon graduating from university and instead of starting a career within institutional finance, he volunteered to serve his nation and became an airborne infantry Captain in the 101st Airborne Division.

Steve successfully returned to his private-sector career in his late twenties.  Since then, he has built his acumen upon experiences within Finance, Consulting, and the Capital Markets.  His robust interest in history and ability to accurately forecast macro events and trends contribute to the value Dux Advisors strives to deliver for its clients.

Having client-side experience with private wealth managers throughout his career, and having made several prescient calls on market events prior to 2020, our Founder had the epiphany during the covid crash that asset allocation and the capital markets offer the best application of his talents.

Steve was educated as a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Finance with graduate-level coursework at business schools in the United States, England, and Germany.
